Grace Winery Wedding Flowers
Vibrant and Varied Autumn Color Palette
When Erin and Jon envisioned their wedding day, the couple was set on a celebration brimming with warmth, love, and vibrant colors—a day that felt intimate yet radiated grandeur. As their florist, TWIG Gardens was thrilled to bring their floral dreams to life at the picturesque Inn at Grace Winery.
Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania's Brandywine Valley, the venue's historic charm, sprawling vineyards, and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a truly unforgettable celebration.
A Venue Full of Character
The Inn at Grace Winery is a gem of a location, blending rustic elegance with a timeless romance. It's one of TWIG's favorite design venues.
With its soaring ceilings and warm wooden beams, the historic barn was the perfect backdrop for Erin and Jon's reception. Outside, the lush grounds and tranquil vineyard vistas offered countless corners for photos and quiet moments alike. It was easy to see why Erin and Jon chose this venue—it provided the perfect mix of sophistication and coziness that reflected their personalities beautifully.
Setting the Stage
On the morning of the wedding, our team arrived ready to transform the venue into a floral masterpiece. Every space was accented with their vibrant palette of flowers.
We brought in our trusty scaffold to tackle one of our most exciting projects of the day: decorating the magnificent chandelier in the reception barn.
Our team worked in unison to adorn the chandelier, turning it into a cascading floral centerpiece that was a beautiful focal piece for the dancefloor. We draped it with yellow, white, and maroon blooms that appeared to "drip" down in a stunning display. The chandelier glowed warmly amidst the soft candlelight that filled the room- a true showstopper—bold, beautiful, and romantic.
A Chuppah Full of Meaning
For the ceremony, Erin and Jon chose a sleek black-framed Chuppah, which was a significant element of their celebration. Draped with the family Tallit, it was a meaningful nod to tradition and family ties. We adorned the four corners of the Chuppah with lush, colorful floral arrangements that were bursting with life—pinks, maroons, whites, and hints of yellow, creating a vibrant, joyful palette.
After the ceremony, the Chuppah took on a new role as part of the reception decor. We repurposed it to stand proudly behind the sweetheart table, giving Erin and Jon a breathtaking floral backdrop for their dinner. The two bottom floral arrangements were repositioned in front of the sweetheart table, creating a seamless and harmonious look that carried the ceremony's beauty into the evening festivities.
A Feast for the Eyes
The guest tables were a kaleidoscope of color and texture. Long tables were dressed with delicate pink and blush runners, creating a soft and romantic foundation. On top, we mixed and matched bud vases, two styles of centerpieces, and colorful taper candles. Adding to the charm were small LED gold lamps that cast a warm glow over the tables, along with pops of fruit that added an unexpected but delightful detail.
The layering of these elements gave each table a unique and inviting character while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic. The combination of soft florals, warm candlelight, and vibrant touches of fruit and color created a sophisticated and playful scene.
A Wedding Day to Remember
Erin and Jon were so fantastic to collaborate with. They were overjoyed to see their vision come to life, and being part of their story was an honor. Throughout the day, the floral arrangements served as a vibrant thread that tied together each moment—from the heartfelt vows under the Chuppah to the joyful laughter shared around the tables and the magical glow of the chandelier during the first dance.
Working at the Inn at Grace Winery made the experience even more special. Its charm and elegance provided the perfect backdrop for the colorful, joyful celebration Erin and Jon had dreamed of. It's a venue that feels like family to us, and it was a privilege to add our floral artistry to its beauty.
Erin and Jon's wedding was a celebration of love, family, and joy, and we at TWIG Gardens were so grateful to play a part in it. Every flower, every candle, every detail came together to tell their story in the most beautiful way. Here's to Erin and Jon—a couple as vibrant and full of life as their unforgettable wedding day!
