Enchanting Boho-Chic Wedding Flowers at Springton Manor Farm | Glenmoore, PA
Springton Manor Farm, with its rustic charm and pastoral beauty, recently served as the backdrop for a wedding that was a true Fall beauty. The couple's aesthetic was inspired by wildflowers, and they were looking for a natural, dainty boho, and whimsical feel– a perfect match for the farm’s innate allure. TWIG was excited to bring this vision to life, blending the natural grace of the venue with a touch of bohemian elegance.
The Venue: A Rustic Wonderland
Springton Manor Farm is a venue that speaks directly to the heart of nature lovers and romantics alike. Nestled amidst rolling hills and stunning pastures, it exudes a serene charm that's hard to find. With over 300 acres of historic and centuries-old sugar maple trees, the property lends itself to gorgeous farmhouse style weddings.
The Floral Theme: A Fall Fantasy
Our floral designs were deeply inspired by the fall season, mirroring the warm and earthy tones of the farm's surroundings. The ceremony, set against one of the farm's beautiful pastures and centered at the historic tree, was marked by two stunning barrel arrangements. These pieces, brimming with whimsical and natural fall tones, greeted guests as they came together for April and Mark.
Sustainability and creativity go hand in hand in our work. Post-ceremony, the barrel arrangements were lovingly repurposed at the foot of the sweetheart table, a subtle yet impactful gesture that tied the various elements of the wedding together.
Under the Tent: A Bohemian Rhapsody
The reception was a sight to behold, with long guest tables set under a large outdoor tent. Tent weddings have such a fun and whimsical vibe to begin with, and we enhanced this feel even more with an assortment of reception arrangements.
Each table was adorned with bud vases, echoing the fall tones of the barrel arrangements. The mix of clear and amber tones in the vases added depth and warmth to the settings.
Scattered amongst the flowers were a variety of votives, their gentle light adding a soft, romantic glow to the evening. The combination of the flickering candles and the rich, warm hues of the flowers created a cozy, inviting atmosphere that lingered throughout the night.
A Touch of Gold
Adding to the boho-chic vibe were the gold table numbers. TWIG crafted each number with pressed flowers set in a gold frame. The delicate beauty of the pressed flowers, preserved in time, was a nod to the enduring nature of love and the timeless beauty of the setting.
Springton Manor Farm: More Than a Venue
As a florist, I have found that the venue plays a crucial role in shaping the overall aesthetic of a wedding. Springton Manor Farm, with its rich history and natural beauty, provided an idyllic canvas for our floral creations. The farm's open spaces, historic charm, and scenic views offered endless inspiration, allowing us to craft arrangements that felt both organically beautiful and thoughtfully designed.
This wedding at Springton Manor Farm allowed us to blend natural beauty with artistic flair. As the sun set over the farm, casting a golden glow on the festivities, the Fall earth tones warmed the open air tent and made the reception sparkle.
In the world of wedding floristry, each event is an opportunity to tell a unique story through flowers. At Springton Manor Farm, the story was one of natural elegance, whimsical charm, and bohemian grace – a story that will linger in the memories of all who were there to witness it.
We wish April and Mark all the best on this new chapter of their lives!
