Moody Parque Wedding Flowers

Dark Fairytale Garden

Something I love about a Fall Wedding at Parque is wondering whether the couple will want to continue those bright summer blooms or delve into the dark and moody flowers that surround Autumn. Sabrina and Brad's Parque wedding flowers erred on the side of quirky Fall magic, and I was ready to usher in some dark glamor for this one.

The Magic of Parque Ridley Creek

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque forest, Parque Ridley Creek State Park exudes timeless elegance and natural beauty. With its stately stone mansion and landscaped gardens, this historic park provides a breathtaking backdrop for weddings and events. The serene woodland surroundings and sophisticated architecture make Parque an idyllic setting for couples seeking a blend of rustic charm and refined luxury for their special day.

It's also one of our favorite venues, almost in TWIG's backyard!

For Sabrina and Brad's wedding, Parque offered the perfect canvas for a natural and sophisticated floral design. The venue's rich history and scenic beauty allowed us to create a floral experience seamlessly integrated with the natural surroundings while adding a touch of elegance to the celebration.

A Green and Elegant Ceremony

To enhance the natural beauty of Parque's stone arch and stairs, we added lush greenery that cascaded down the stonework, creating a romantic and organic ambiance for the ceremony. The verdant foliage provided a soft, enchanting frame for Sabrina and Brad as they exchanged their vows, blending harmoniously with the park's natural setting.

Atop the stairs, we placed two large floral arrangements in gold urns. These arrangements featured a mix of pink, burgundy, white, and rich greenery, adding a touch of classic elegance to the ceremony site. The gold urns provided a stately contrast to the lush greenery, creating a focal point that drew the eye and complemented the grandeur of the stone architecture.

A Fountain of Flowers

One of the standout features of Sabrina and Brad's wedding decor was the three-tier arrangement in the fountain. This floral display, situated in the center of the park's elegant fountain, featured layers of burgundy and white flowers and greenery that cascaded down the tiers. The flowing arrangement mimicked the movement of water, adding a dynamic and whimsical element to the decor. Combining the fountain's serene water features and the lush floral arrangement created a mesmerizing centerpiece that captured the essence of natural beauty and elegance.

A Living Fireplace

Behind the couple at the sweetheart table, the fireplace was transformed into a living vine of greenery. The design featured lush, trailing vines interspersed with pops of white flower heads. This organic arrangement added a sense of enchantment to the reception, enhancing the romantic atmosphere of the space.

Personal Touches and Family Traditions

The centerpieces made by Sabrina's grandmother added a heartfelt and personal touch to the decor. Each guest table featured these lovingly crafted arrangements, with the head table showcasing a more extended version. To enhance these unique pieces, TWIG added greenery that seemed to grow naturally from the base of each centerpiece, blending seamlessly with the handcrafted arrangements. This combination of family tradition and professional design created a unique and meaningful display that honored the couple's family.

Greenery Everywhere

The fireplaces near the bar and entrance were adorned with cascading greenery, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests as they arrived and mingled. Adding greenery to these spaces enhanced the mansion's natural beauty and provided a cohesive look throughout the venue.

The bookshelf was another focal point, decorated with bud vases, votives, and greenery across the shelves. This organic design added a touch of whimsy, transforming the bookshelf into a living piece of art.

Sweet Details

For Sabrina and Brad's donut tower, TWIG added delicate floral accents that matched the overall floral theme. The flowers added a touch of romance and sophistication to the playful and delicious display, making it a sweet centerpiece that delighted guests.

The staircase leading up to the bar was also decorated with greenery and pillar candles, creating the illusion of a natural, growing vine. This design element added a touch of magic and continuity to the decor, guiding guests up the stairs.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Designing the flowers for Sabrina and Brad's Parque Ridley Creek State Park wedding was a true honor and joy. The opportunity to create something bespoke for such a beautiful and historic space was incredibly fulfilling. The combination of natural beauty, elegant design, and personal touches made this wedding truly special.

Thank you, Sabrina and Brad, for trusting us to bring your vision to life. Your willingness to embrace creativity and uniqueness allowed us to create a wedding that was not only beautiful but also deeply personal and memorable. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and magical moments together!
