Wildflower Inspired Inn at Grace Winery Wedding | Glen Mills, PA

TWIG has had the pleasure of transforming many venues into blooming paradises, but few have left an impression quite like The Inn at Grace Winery. Last summer, we had opportunity to work on a wedding that was nothing short of a gorgeous dream palette.

Bride, Krissy, was looking for a theme that was reminiscent of “wildflower,” but not your typical wildflowers. We’re talking a full spectrum of color, where each hue played a crucial role in bringing together a breathtaking scene.

The Vibrant Vision

The challenge was to create a floral arrangement that captured the essence of wildflowers but with a polished, sophisticated touch. The result? A vibrant mix of flowers that complemented everything from the candles and glassware to the bridesmaids' dresses. This wasn't just a splash of color; it was a lovingly curated rainbow that tied every element of the wedding together.

The Venue: A Rustic Elegance

The Inn at Grace Winery, with its gorgeous, updated barn and wooden tables, provided the perfect canvas for our floral artwork.

This venue is a revitalized 50-acre estate, that not only offers a picturesque backdrop for events but is also a working winery with a delightful tasting room that specializes in tailored experiences for each celebration it hosts.

The rustic elegance of the venue enhanced the natural beauty of our arrangements, creating a harmonious blend of refinement and charm.

The Altar: A Floral Masterpiece

The altar was graced with two large barrel arrangements, a stunning display of our colorful theme. These arrangements were not only a focal point during the ceremony but were later repurposed at the foot of the sweetheart table, ensuring their beauty was enjoyed throughout the evening.

Table Settings: A Symphony of Color and Texture

At the reception, each table was adorned with a beige runner, creating a neutral base for the explosion of color that was to come. The table settings were a true testament to the power of details. Beautiful ribbed, pastel chalices added a touch of elegance, while our blush glass votives, with their bumpy, ribbed texture, echoed the delicate intricacy of the glassware.

A Dual Decor Approach

We opted for a dual approach in decorating the tables. Half were graced with pastel taper candles set in hurricanes, surrounded by charming bud vases. The other half boasted a combination of bud vases and ribbed, pastel pink votives. This alternating decor created a rhythm and flow that made each table unique yet part of a cohesive whole.

Transforming the Dance Floor

The ambitious task of decorating the wooden beams that surrounded the dance floor fell to owner, Carly. Climbing over 15 feet into the air, she strung together a mesmerizing mix of greenery, lights, and disco balls, creating an enchanting overhead spectacle that is one of our favorites of the year.

The centerpiece of our challenge was the chandelier above the dance floor. Carly, undaunted by the task, adorned it with lush greenery, transforming it into a floating garden that added an extra layer of magic to the venue.

A Wedding to Remember

This wedding at The Inn at Grace Winery was a testament to the power of color and coordination in creating a truly immersive experience. The way the colors flowed from the flowers to the decor, the glassware, and even the lighting, created an atmosphere that was both whimsical and elegantly grounded.

The ability to transform a space, to bring a couple’s vision to life, and to be a part of their special day is an honor that we never take lightly. The Inn at Grace Winery provided the perfect backdrop for our floral designs, and the end result was a vivid, joyous celebration of love and color.

Thank you to Krissy and Joe for trusting us with their floral vision!
